*Rata-rata pengunjung setiap hari : jumlah pengunjung yang kita perkirakan mengunjungi website kita, secara rata-rata setiap harinya
*Rata-rata halaman web dilihat : Secara rata-rata, jumlah halaman web yang kita perkirakan akan dilihat pengunjung. Jika kita memiliki 50 halaman web maka rata-rata setiap pengunjung akan melihat 5 halaman web anda dalam satu kali kunjungan.
* Rata-rata ukuran file halaman web : Rata-rata ukuran halaman web kita dalam kilobyte (kb), jika kita sudah melakukan design web kita, kita dapat menghitung berapa ukuran per halamannya.
*Fudge Factor : Nilai di atas angka 1. Gunakan 1.5 untuk hasil yang amaun yang mengasumsikan bahawa estimasi sebesar 50% . Jika anda tidak yakin cukup, anda biasa gunakan angka 2/3 untuk memastikan kebutuhan bandwidth anda lebih dari cukup.
Semakin besar kapasiti bandwidth, semakin bagus. Fakta ini boleh dikaitakan dengan jalan raya. Traffik akan berjalan dengan lebih lancar di atas jalan raya yang lebih lebar berbanding dengan jalan kampung. Akan tetapi, bank hanya akan menerima pada hari pertama dalam setiap bulan. Justeru itu, kita harus menunggu sehingga hari pertama pada bulan depan untuk mengosongkan tabung kita dan bermula untuk menabung lagi.
